Here’s an interesting article about Google from Fortune magazine. What caught my attention was this: ” ‘They have a fantastic cash cow. They need a goat and a chicken.'”  I couldn’t help but chuckle. It sounds like in the current good times, Google managment practices are rather sloppy.

I still like the idea of having free good food. It would be interesting to see if they get more productivity out of the employees since they don’t have to leave work to eat. For me, my tummy usually dictates when I go home. If I had available food, I might stay a few hours to finish things up more. I also think a lot better when I’m not hungry. Maybe Google gets a pretty good return on their $67Mil food investment.
