Code Geass: The Lelouch Rebellion

Awesome! Go watch it! Watch in it’s original Japanese with subtitles! My life is empty now that Lelouch is over. This is definitely one of the best TV shows EVER!

This is a continuation of Code Geass: The Lelouch Rebellion. I don’t want to give much away, but I’ll say the shocking moments continue as everything goes to heck very quickly. The last 5-minutes will make you cry as everyone realizes what has happened. So good!!! Watch this anime! Both seasons!

Here’s what I had to say about the first season. Link.

Quests Resumed

I found out today, if I don’t venture in the RvR regoins of the map, then I won’t be flagged.   There is also an option to unflag yourself when you click on your character’s icon in the upper left corner of the UI.  I haven’t tried this yet though.  Anyhow, I was able to resume my questing without bullies bothering me tonight.  I also did a couple of instances and I’m getting better at player vs player.  Most of my improvement has come from getting used to moving my character with the mouse only in a mode that is like an FPS (hold down both mouse buttons to move).  Now I just choose an emeny and stay on the enemy swinging and shooting until one of us dies.  I usually die because the enemy runs back to their home base and I get pulverized by a large group of players.   But maybe 25% of the time my persistance pays off and I manage to score a kill before they make it to safety.

It seems that I have a passion for extinguishing “gits.”  You see, towards the very beginning of the game, some “git” and his/her squig decided to cross over into the human home territory on one of the beaches.  I kicked his or her behind along with the squig and continued questing — stupid git!.  A few minutes later, the “git” returned with a stronger enemy (a higher level orc) and that stronger guy kicked my behind while the git looked on — what a git!.  Since then, my brain auto targets any “gits” as kill on sight.  So, if you have given your little green guy the subtitle “git” look out for me because I’m hunting for you.

Warhammer is no Place for Peaceful People

Mr. Kuroneko003:  So, what skills does your witch hunter have?

Kuroneko003:  Shooting and cutting …

Mr. Kuroneko003:  That’s not quite what I meant …

————-

Anyhow, I was playing my witch hunter tonight in the human land and I got to a point where the land around me is contested (just outside of Troll County’s Swamp).  In order to continue my questing I have to get through enemy territory.  I’m a peaceful one, so I really don’t feel like fighting some buffed-up bully.  But bullies being what they are, won’t let me leave my safe haven without a fight. Great Cost Cutting Tech Tips

Here are some great tips from the Washington Post on how using your technology wisely and perhaps holding off on getting the latest gadgets can save you money.  I had to chuckle a little while reading this because they are speaking to a very spoiled and privileged audience.  There are people in the US worrying about mortgages and food and this article is babbling about not getting that 10-MP camera just yet.  Anyhow, here’s a link.  I’ve been wanting to get rid of cable for a while in favor of Internet viewing regardless of our employment situation, but I’ve been scared to ever approach Mr. Kuroneko003 about it.  We watch about 4-hrs of TV/week and all the shows we watch are available online.  i think, though, that the cable company may tie our modem service to having cable.  Sigh … well … as for me, is what I did in the past few months:

  • Ended my subscription to Rhapsody
  • Power off gaming computers completely rather than leave them in sleep mode when not in use
  • Negotiated my iPhone phone rate to the lowest tier of voice service and both a basic SMS plan and try to use e-mail when I can
